Finding a great neighborhood for your family can be nearly impossible, especially if you don't know what to look for. These three Nashville neighborhoods are very family friendly.
Hillsboro Village
This downtown neighborhood is great for families for several reasons. It's centrally located, has tons of activities to do every weekend, and has a great overall atmosphere. The community feel makes it a great place to get away from fast-paced living and relax.
Germantown
This area offers a variety of living options. There are single family homes, town homes, condos, and more, meaning that there is a home for just about everyone who could ever want to live in the neighborhood. Germantown is also somewhat less expensive to live in compared to other Nashville neighborhoods, making it a great fit for families that are just starting out. This area also has apartments which may be perfect for smaller families that are not ready for a house.
Sylvan Park
This neighborhood is ideal because of the number of activities if offers for families. It also has tons of living options, is wonderful for families of all sorts, and is close to Centennial Park for the kiddos. The Sylvan Park neighborhood is full of history and character that is both part of Nashville but completely independent from the city as well. This area is great for large families and smaller families that are just starting out. Sylvan Park also has a lot of apartments for those that are looking for a simpler way of living and just want a great apartment to start out in.
Any of the neighborhoods mentioned would be great for both new families and those that have several children. These areas still have plenty of character and the feel of Nashville without the hectic lifestyle of living right downtown. These neighborhoods are perfect for families of all sorts and are worth a look.
